St. Nicholas, Glorious Confessor of Christ, assist us in thy loving kindness.

Glorious St. Nicholas, my special Patron from your throne in glory, you do enjoy the presence of God,

turn your eyes in pity upon me and all peoples and attain for us from our Lord the graces and help that we need in our spiritual and temporal necessities.

Especially we pray for your intercession on behalf of the Occupy Movement, for its peaceful conduct and for the peace and flourishing of all those engaged in the Occupy protests particularly those risking arrest and abuse for standing up with the poor and marginalized in the United States and throughout the World, especially for Occupy [name your city here]

And all those who stand in solidarity with the poor and marginalized to end economic and social injustice, as you did as priest and bishop.

O Glorious and Saintly Bishop, bring back to the right way of salvation all those who are living steeped in sin, blinded by darkness of ignorance, error and heresy, especially those more committed to the dollar or to consumption than to love of neighbor.

Comfort the afflicted,  provide the needy. Strengthen the fearful, defend the oppressed, give health to the infirm.

Cause all people to experience the effects of thy powerful intercession with the supreme giver of every good and perfect gift.

O God who has glorified Blessed St. Nicholas, Your illustrious Confessor and Bishop, by means of countless signs and wonder, and Who does not cease daily so to glorify him, grant we beseech You, that we, being assisted by his merits and prayers, be delivered from the fires of hell and from all dangers through Christ our Lord.
